Experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Position Overview The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant role will be working in the Emergency Medicine specialty at Banner Estrella Medical Center - EM, Phoenix, AZ. Position Profile Rotate between Banner University Medical Center and Banner Estrella Medical Center. The emergency department has 72 beds and an annual volume of 85,000 patients (87% adult, 13% pediatric). The role includes 50 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage, scribe coverage, Level IV Trauma and Stroke Center care, 24/7 cardiac catheterization laboratory support, and average EMS arrivals of 35 per day. All specialties are available except Pediatrics, Vascular, Spine, Neurosurgery, ENT, and OMFS. W‑2 status with a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency care for patients, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate, participate in overnight and rotational coverage, assist with scribe coverage, and contribute to Level IV Trauma, Stroke Center, 24/7 cardiac catheterization laboratory and EMS response. Work collaboratively with the emergency medicine team across both banner sites.
