The Buyer is responsible for executing and tracking the production of goods with factories and suppliers. This role begins once POs are created and approved by the Demand Planner and ensures timely manufacturing, problem resolution, and delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and experienced in vendor management and production coordination within a fast-paced supply chain.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities

• Receive approved POs from Demand Planner and issue to appropriate factories
• Confirm production start dates, timelines, and shipping schedules with vendor
• Coordinate with Accounting to ensure production deposits and milestone payments are accurate and submitted on time
• Track the status of all open orders and escalate any production delays
• Manage communication with factories regarding changes, cancellations, or issues
• Ensure all production activities align with required timelines and shipping targets
• Coordinate with logistics to support inbound shipment and delivery timing
• Maintain and update production tracking systems and ERP data
• Communicate risks or delays clearly and promptly to internal stakeholders
• Monitor supplier performance and help implement corrective actions
• Support quality control processes during production and pre-shipment

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, factory coordination, buying, or supply execution
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple production timelines
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools
• Experience in e-commerce, wholesale, or manufacturing environments is REQUIRED
