As a Security Guard TWIC Credential Officer in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support access control operations for a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you may conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
