We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Advanced Practice Practitioner (PA or ACNP/EMNP) to join our dynamic inpatient team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. Schedule & Work Expectations: Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week:

8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

10:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

Weekend rotation: every 5th weekend Holiday rotation: 1 holiday per year No nights, no call! Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with emergency physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emergent conditions, contributing to department efficiency, throughput, and quality outcomes. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop/implement treatment plans for patients across all acuity levels. Carry out procedures within scope (e.g., laceration repair, incision & drainage, splinting). Rapidly interpret diagnostic results and ensure accurate, timely documentation. Provide patient and family education, including discharge instructions. Your qualifications: Ability to manage high-acuity and undifferentiated clinical environments. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills. Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced setting. Graduate of nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program NPs should hold Acute Care or Emergency Medicine certifications Ability to obtain PA/NP licensure in Missouri Apply today to explore how this opportunity may align with your career goals in Emergency Medicine.
