Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Aurora, CO 80045 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Schedule: Rotating days and nights; weekend coverage required Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,180 - $2,290 Charting System: Epic Float Requirement: Floating within the Women & Infant unit as needed On-Call: May be required per unit needs Orientation: 24 hours Unit Size: 19-room Labor & Delivery unit Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state eligibility Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required Travel nursing experience preferred Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Comfort working rotating shifts, weekends, and floating within scope Strong clinical judgment in high-acuity obstetric and maternal care Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) preferred Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and high-risk deliveries Support antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum care Perform assessments, medication administration, and evidence-based nursing interventions Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote excellent patient outcomes Float within the Women & Infant service line as needed to meet patient care needs Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards for quality and safety Ready to advance your travel nursing career?
