About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Duration: 20 weeks (13 weeks also accepted) Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required prior to start. Must-Have: One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission. Recent charge RN references are accepted. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation with an acceptable score required. Travelers may only be submitted for one job at a time. Description: Provide winter coverage in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty. Three 12-hour night shifts, from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM. A minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required. Candidates must have 18 months of permanent experience prior to travel. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months and from supervisory roles. Active certifications need to be in hand at the time of submission. Facility reviews background hits of any kind and will not accept travelers with an open case. All travelers must be nicotine-free except for specific exemptions. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of the start date. Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months with a required 6-month break before returning unless approved. Modules and assessments will be completed prior to the start.
