POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Competitive Benefits Sign-On Bonus Eligible up to $100,000 $121 – $159/hour Forgivable loan option available Licensure & Certification Costs Covered CME Reimbursement: $2,250 annually + 40 hours of CME PTO Malpractice Insurance Extra Shift Bonuses: $75-$100/hour No Non-Competes: Work locums at non-Advocate Health locations MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conducting pre-anesthesia assessments and developing individualized anesthesia care plans. Administering anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings. Monitoring patient status throughout the perioperative period. Collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing teams, and procedural staff. Participating in post-anesthesia evaluations and patient recovery planning. Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation. Supporting Advocate Health's commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care. The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization with departmental specific credentialing from the institution. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED License/Registration/Certification Required: Active RN, and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or other APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice, AND Active national board certification as CRNA by nationally certifying board (NBCRNA). Active DEA registration prior to hire Active ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical site/practice and/or role prior to or within 6 months of hire Education Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing Experience Required: No experience required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Demonstrated high level of clinical proficiency, and excellent decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective member of a health care team. Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technology and proficiency with the electronic medical record. Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with and establish/build relationships with others. Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
