Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) unit, ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. This role requires proficiency in cardiac procedures, cath lab experience, and adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP unit, following established protocols.
• Perform assessments, monitor patient status, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to execute cardiac procedures efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedural details in the EMR system.
• Adhere to safety standards, including ACLS and BLS protocols, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Floats to other units as needed to support hospital operations and patient care demands.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid State RN license and current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate strong cardiac experience and proficiency in cath lab procedures.
• Possess ACLS certification and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have prior travel experience and familiarity with MediTech EMR (preferred).
• Have a minimum of 2 years of cardiac nursing experience, particularly in cath lab settings.
