Quick Facts Location: Rockville, MD Start Date: 09/07/2026 End Date: 03/08/2027 Shift: Monday – Friday, plus call coverage (evenings, weekends, holidays) Hours/week: At least 10 shifts per month, 8 am – 5 pm, plus call Employment Type: Full-time locum License/Certs: Board Certification, MD State License, DEA, CSR required Experience: Minimum required experience; credentialing timeframe: 90 days Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $4,680.00 per hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including patient rounds, joint aspirations, vascular ultrasound, thyroid biopsies, CTA scans, lumbar punctures, vein mapping, and dialysis graft procedures Read and interpret vascular and CTA studies remotely (~10% of work) Provide specialty consultations as requested Cover weekday routine interventional examinations and after-hours call, including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis Respond to STAT procedures promptly with a response time within 15 minutes, with the capability to perform exams within 60 minutes of physician-to-physician contact Float between multiple locations within the facility network What You Need Board Certification in Radiology required Active Maryland Medical License and DEA registration required Minimum experience in interventional radiology; willing to obtain licensing in Maryland if necessary Key skills: procedural expertise, quick response time, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment This position involves providing comprehensive interventional radiology services across a major healthcare facility in Rockville, Maryland. The role includes performing routine procedures, managing emergent cases during call hours, and supporting outpatient and inpatient patient needs.
