Description - What You'll Do

• Carry out both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-according to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot potential issues, and manage the preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new personnel, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory guidelines and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) certification to be obtained within one year of employment.
