HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Arlington, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• BLS
• ACLS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• PCCN, TNCC, TCAR certifications
• Experience in ICU/PCU level of care, precepting experience

• Foley and NGT insertions
• Wound care

• Number of Beds - 34
• Number of Staff – 44
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 11 PCTs, 12 RNs
  • Night Shift – 6 PCTs, 13 RNs
• Patient Ratios – 1:5 for PCU level, 1:6 for MST level
• Type of equipment – VS machines, EKG, bladder scanning, glucometers, continuous pulse oximetry
• EMR – Meditech
• On Call Requirement – None
• Floating Requirement – within scope of practice
