Acquisition Program Strategist

ManTech seeks a motivated, customer-oriented Acquisition Program Strategist to join our team in the Cape Canaveral, FL area . Responsibilities Develop, technically assess and update program and project deliverables and documentation, including contract deliverables. Create draft government acquisition strategies, requests for proposals (RFPs), and supporting documentation for government review as required. Assist in all aspects of government acquisition processes, contract business support and contract analysis. Document, update and make recommendations for contract document submittals. Products include but are not limited to the following: technical evaluations of basis of estimates (BOEs) in proposals. Acquisition strategy plans, documents and briefings, sole source justification & approval (J&A) memoranda, requests for proposals (RFPs) draft performance work statement (PWS). Work breakdown structure summary (WBS), contract data requirements lists (CDRLs), incentive plans, financing plans, proposal instructions, and evaluation criteria. Analyses and recommendations for program reporting, development of program and project briefings, documentation configuration/control, action tracking, and coordination of documentation review process. Integrate program/project tasks and provide technical assessment, evaluation, and recommendations for post-RFP release activities, to include sole source fact finding, proposal technical evaluations, and negotiations and competitive source selection specialized support. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts 7+ years’ experience in PM/Acquisition/Contracting in relevant fields 2+ years of NSSL, Launch/Range, DoD, or NASA or industry specific experience Background in government weapon systems acquisitions and/or government contracting strongly desired. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated competency in Microsoft tools including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Information Technology (IT) systems and SharePoint-type databases. Security Clearance Requirements Must have a Secret Security Clearance Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, machine and computer printer. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
