As a Security Officer Access Authorization Coordinator in Flowery Branch, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, use technology to support access procedures, and communicate professionally with guests and team members. Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a bakery production and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor records, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading docks, production-area perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support orderly vehicle, delivery, and pedestrian access at the location while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
