Core Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Assess, admit, and monitor patients, coordinating with physicians to deliver highly effective treatments.
• Medication & Treatments: Safely administer medications and monitor patient responses continuously.
• Family Support: Communicate updates clearly with family members and provide empathetic support during stressful moments.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Documentation: Ensure all patient charts and vital signs are accurately and promptly recorded in accordance with regulatory standards. 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (BSN preferred). 
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Virginia. 
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Life Support (ACLS/PALS/NIHSS) may be required depending on the specific unit. 
• Experience: Both experienced nurses and new graduate nurses are encouraged to apply. Prior acute care or specialty experience is a plus.
