Position: Custodian - Part Time
Location: Texarkana AR
Hours: M-F 2pm-7pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas of the church buildings are clean and well-maintained. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down and sanitizing surfaces regularly to keep the church clean

• Keep restrooms fully stocked with essential supplies, clean, and sanitized. Regularly check and maintain soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper dispensers • Properly dispose of waste and recyclables in designated areas and ensure trash bins are regularly emptied and kept clean

• Assist in setting up chairs, tables, and other equipment for church services, events, and gatherings. After events, ensure that the facilities are returned to their original state

• Keep track of cleaning supplies, restroom essentials, and other supplies. Inform the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be ordered and restock supplies when they come in

• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Administrative Assistant to have entered into eSpace

• Comply with all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and maintaining a safe environment for staff and visitors

• Be open to working flexible hours, especially during special events, holidays, or when unexpected facility needs arise

• Adhere to all church policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned
