If you take pride in getting the details right and want a stable first-shift opportunity where your work is visible and valued, this could be a great fit.The OpportunityAs a Packaging Specialist / Operator, you'll be responsible for accurately, safely, and efficiently packaging finished food products according to production schedules, customer specifications, and quality standards.What You'll DoOperate packaging and labeling equipment safely and efficientlyOperate equipment such as case/package labelers, metal detectors, tape machines, bagging equipment, and clippersFollow production schedules and prepare upcoming products, packaging materials, labels, and equipmentVerify labels and packaging to ensure products meet customer specificationsPrepare and apply accurate pallet tagsBuild pallets according to established specifications and pallet patternsMove completed pallets to designated coolers/freezers using approved material-handling equipmentComplete production and shipping documentation accuratelyMaintain label verification records and other required paperworkMonitor product and packaging quality throughout the production processSupport training and coordination of team members on proper packaging proceduresFollow all food safety, sanitation, quality, and workplace safety requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient packaging areaWhat We're Looking ForPackaging, production, or food manufacturing experience preferredExperience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment is a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow production schedules and written proceduresStrong understanding of food safety and proper food-handling practicesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environmentDependable, team-oriented approachAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 poundsAbility or willingness to become certified to operate a pallet jackWhat You Can Expect1st Shift opportunityFull-time, approximately 40+ hours per weekCompetitive hourly compensationBenefits packageOpportunity to develop additional production and equipment skillsPotential for continued growth within an established food manufacturing operationWhy You'll Want To Be Here:This isn't just about putting a product in a package—it's about being part of the final step that gets a quality product into customers' hands.
