Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Clinic Woodbridge, VA, United States Inova Schar Cancer Institute is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our brand new Woodbridge location! This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 or 8:30 - 5:00. We are closed on the weekends and there are no night shifts or on‑call hours! Sign on bonus and relocation assistance are available to qualified external candidates. This position will have the opportunity to work 1 day per week from home after an orientation period. Job Responsibilities Performs biopsychosocial assessments on patients Provides medications and treatments to patients Serves as a resource for patients and families regarding medical questions Develops plan of care Works with the interdisciplinary team to assist adult patients to meet treatment goals Reports to the Clinical Director Minimum Qualifications Experience Required: 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN), must complete a BSN within 5 years of start date. Certification: BLS certification required. Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment. Special Skills: Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills required.
