We are seeking a friendly and professional host to join our team at our Richmond, VA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
• Manage reservations and waitlists using our reservation system
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant
• Coordinate with the waitstaff and kitchen to ensure smooth service
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a host or in a customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed
