Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced, flexible, and ready to work night shifts, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions in the Emergency Room setting.
• Administer appropriate treatments and interventions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including timely documentation and passing required exams.
• Perform EKG exams and other diagnostic procedures as part of nursing responsibilities.
• Floats to various hospital campuses and assists with coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• Current active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required; PALS, TNCC, CPI preferred.
• Ability to pass compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
