Senior PPI Business Systems Specialist, Central Lab Services
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Senior implementation specialist role focused on driving continuous improvement and lean management across Thermo Fisher Scientific's Highland Heights laboratory facility. The position combines project management, process improvement, and team leadership to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects across the site
- Coach teams on lean management systems including daily management, Gemba walks, and leader standard work
- Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation across business unit
- Manage PPI program support through project tracking, pipeline development, and productivity reporting
- Partner with Finance to evaluate savings estimates and validate reported PPI benefits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, biological science, or related field
- 10+ years in engineering, manufacturing, clinical, pharmaceuticals, biological, or GMP environments
- Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve results
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated project management experience in fast-paced environments
- Financial acumen and ability to validate project savings and benefits
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking capability
