Pharmacy Business Coordinator

Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, and according to the standard procedures as stated in the FMH Policy and Procedure Manual, the Business Coordinator-Pharmacy is responsible for the oversight of all pharmaceutical and related supply management for the pharmacy. Responsibilities Daily review of patient charges in PHA and resolution of any charge rejections. Uses the assistance of the IS Pharmacy Analyst as needed. Report generation for the Director of Pharmacy from the pharmacy information system and purchasing software as needed for the management of inventory and purchasing decisions. Process invoices with appropriate cost centers and forwards to Accounts Payable in a timely fashion. Processes drug returns to wholesaler and other suppliers. Processes expired drug returns to reverse distributor. Invoices outside organizations as necessary for medications purchased from the pharmacy. Orders from non pharmaceutical suppliers as necessary for purchases. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent PTCB certification and registration with the State of NH Board of Pharmacy.
