• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  

Highway Laborer Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools safely
  
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
  
• Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a crew
  
• Ability to work around roadways and moving equipment safely
  

Key Responsibilities

• Clear brush and grass along roads and work areas.
  
• Pick up litter and remove trash.
  
• Load, unload, move, and haul supplies and building materials.
  
• Dig ditches and assist with other ground work.
  
• Mow grass and help maintain roadside areas.
  
• Spread blacktop and assist with paving roads and repairing potholes.
  
• Assist with traffic control as a flagger when assigned.
  
• Operate hand tools and occasionally use light equipment as assigned.
  
• Help maintain tools and equipment.
  
• Run work-related errands and complete other labor tasks as assigned.
