Payroll Coordinator in Morgantown, WV

to join its HR and payroll team. This position will support

multi-state payroll operations

across multiple business units while helping ensure employees are paid accurately, efficiently, and on time. The Payroll Coordinator will: Support

semi-monthly payroll processing

for non-union employees Assist with

weekly payroll processing

for assigned union employees during training and transition Maintain accurate employee and payroll records within payroll and ERP systems Process payroll changes for new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and pay rate changes Review payroll information for accuracy and identify discrepancies Research and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner Help ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met Payroll Compliance & Reporting

Assist with

payroll tax reporting and compliance Process and maintain records for garnishments, tax levies, unemployment claims, and other payroll notices Maintain payroll documentation according to applicable federal and state requirements Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed Support payroll operations across multiple business units and states Help maintain accurate and compliant payroll records Benefits & 401(k) Administration

Assist employees with

401(k) enrollment and account changes Process payroll-related benefits and contribution updates Assist with union benefits and vacation accruals Maintain accurate employee benefit and payroll records Help answer employee questions related to payroll, deductions, and benefits HR & Administrative Support

In addition to payroll responsibilities, this position will provide support to the HR team, including: Assist with job postings and recruiting administration Help coordinate pre-employment screening Assist with employee onboarding activities Provide professional and responsive support to employees and office administrators Assist with office supply procurement and other administrative responsibilities as needed Support additional HR and payroll projects Payroll Coordinator Qualifications

Previous payroll experience required Multi-state payroll experience preferred Union payroll experience is a plus Working knowledge of payroll compliance, garnishments, benefits, and 401(k) administration Experience using payroll software iSolved experience is a plus Proficiency with

Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to clearly explain payroll information to employees and management Ability to work effectively as part of a small HR and payroll team Comfortable supporting employees across multiple locations Ability to work independently and meet payroll deadlines Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee information Why This Payroll Opportunity?
