Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$1958.40/week -

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a busy hospital operating room. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and positive surgical outcomes through skilled clinical interventions and collaboration with the surgical team.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients preoperatively to determine their needs and readiness for surgery.
  
  
• 
  Prepare operating rooms with appropriate surgical instruments and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Scrub in and assist during surgical procedures across various service lines including orthopedics, spine, ENT, urology, and plastics.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes during surgery.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care and surgical procedures accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Hold a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute OR setting.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing and circulating for all service lines.
  
  
• 
  Have current nursing licensure and relevant certifications.
  
  
• 
  Experience with orthopedic, spine, joint replacement, and vascular surgeries preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to multitask, think critically, and communicate effectively with team members.
