Express Employment Professionals in Ottawa IL is currently hiring Field Service Technicians on behalf of our client who is a leader in material handling solutions. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy diagnosing issues, working hands-on with equipment, and providing excellent service at customer sites.
Pay:
- $30.00-42.00/HR
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical issues on equipment such as forklifts, lift trucks, and other warehouse machinery
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Perform repairs and maintenance on:
- Diesel, propane, and electric engines
- Hydraulic systems
- Electrical systems
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience working with forklifts, heavy equipment, automotive, or similar machinery preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environments
