- Make fertilizer, chemical, and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
- You will work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities
- Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long-term repeat business
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions
- Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis
- Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
- Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail agronomy sales in chemicals, fertilizer, and seed.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in an agricultural related field
- Vast knowledge of crop production
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
- Must currently reside in the region and have a valid U.S. driver’s license
