Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Division of Domestic Relations and Juvenile Branch is hiring for a position with a salary of $35.99 hourly. The job is located at 373 South High Street, Columbus, OH, 43215 and is a full-time position. The listing closes on 6/5/2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (US & Canada).
Position Summary:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, criminal justice, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience working with juveniles and/or multi-problem involved in the justice system, preferably in a reentry or case management capacity. Knowledge of the juvenile justice and juvenile court systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in computer applications and record-keeping systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive case management services to juvenile clients, including assessment, planning, coordination, and monitoring of services and resources.
- Develop individualized reentry plans for each juvenile client, taking into account their unique strengths, needs, and circumstances.
- Identify and connect juvenile clients with appropriate community resources and support services, such as housing assistance, educational programs, job training, mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, and mentorship programs.
- Advocate on behalf of juvenile clients to ensure they have access to necessary services and opportunities for successful reintegration, both within the juvenile justice system and in the community.
- Collaborate with juvenile justice professionals, social service agencies, educational institutions, employers, and other community partners to coordinate services and support for juvenile clients.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to juvenile clients and their families as needed, including assistance with conflict resolution, coping skills, and accessing emergency services.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of juvenile clients in achieving their reentry goals and adjust plans and services as necessary to address changing needs and circumstances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, assessments, service referrals, and progress reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Provide education and outreach to community members, stakeholders, and potential partners about the reentry needs of juvenile clients and the importance of supporting their successful reintegration.
- Participates in continuing education programs, conferences, workshops, and meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
