Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echo/Vascular) for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and a full vascular skill set.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular sonography experience with a full vascular skill set
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Active ARDMS (RDCS/RVT) or active CCI certification
• License required if applicable
• Valid driver's license required
• Supervisory reference/performance evaluation completed within the last two years required

Responsibilities

• Non-Invasive Department at a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• On call 1 night per weekday and every third weekend
• Average of 7-8 scans per day
• Vascular procedures include renal studies, pre-op assessments, pain mapping, and other detailed vascular work
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing professional clinical care to patients
• Black scrubs required
• Travelers must work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)
• Limited to 1 day off request during designated holiday blackout periods
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) may be restricted from travel assignments in other markets within the past 12 months
