Human Resources Business Partner

Job Title: PDC HRBP
Location: Riverside, CA (100% Onsite)
Employment Type: Temporary (Approx. 3 months -- covering LOA)
Pay: $30-$40/hr. DOE
Schedule: Hours need to overlap for 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd shifts

We're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support a fast-paced distribution and operations environment. This role partners closely with leaders and employees across multiple shifts to drive employee relations, safety, compliance, recruiting support, and workforce engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct workplace investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Support safety initiatives, compliance programs, and workers' compensation administration.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruiting and onboarding efforts.
• Deliver HR training and provide day-to-day support to leaders and employees.
• Support multiple sites and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of HR Generalist, Employee Relations, or HRBP experience.
• Experience supporting warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, investigations, and HR compliance.
• Experience supporting exempt and non-exempt populations.

Preferred

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
• Multi-site HR support experience.
• Workers' compensation and workplace safety experience.

Hours must overlap with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift operations.
