Be an Expert: Understands the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (e.g., taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepares (trims, crisps, packages, scales) products according to established standards; maintains product safety and follows company sanitation guidelines; and adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; utilizes digital tools; applies perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and provides attention to customer needs; assists customers according to company policies and procedures. How we compensate Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00* Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
