Job Details We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic inpatient healthcare team. Our ideal candidate is a motivated, patient-focused professional who is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate will work with a diverse patient population, providing comprehensive physical therapy services to optimize patient recovery and wellness. Responsibilities Assess patient condition using appropriate methods to determine the level of function in physical tasks, including, but not limited to, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance/vestibular fundamentals, functional mobility training, and transfer training. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings, including assistive device selection and training, DME recommendations and fitting. Implement physical therapy treatment programs and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities, ensuring they understand the purpose, benefits, and risks. Document patient care and treatment in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards. Participate in professional development activities to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in physical therapy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required, advanced degree preferred. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an inpatient setting. Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, balance/vestibular fundamentals, functional mobility training, transfer training, assistive device selection and training, and DME recommendations and fitting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound clinical decisions. Ability to manage a high caseload and prioritize tasks effectively. Commitment to adhering to the highest standards of patient care and professional ethics. Basic computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.
