This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.Qualifications:Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug ScreeningsSHRM-CP or SHRM-SC or PHR or SPHR credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.At least two years of experience with resolving employee relations issues.Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Must possess strong computer skills and ability to multi-task.Strong organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including benefits and payroll administration, compensation practices, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.Must possess a Bachelor’s degree.Bilingual preferredEssential Functions:Serves as coach and mentor for regional management.Conducts regular meetings with respective regional teams.Consults with area management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to area management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.Supports talent management including, interviewing, onboarding, new hires, promotions, and transfers.Identifies training needs for regional partner groups and communicates to training and development department.Required to visit worksites a minimum of once per quarter.Performs all other duties as assigned.SR97NHQThis position will remain open until filled.
