Food Runner Who we are… The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. After launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened Ned’s Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location. The Property… Ned’s Club Washington DC is a members’ club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President’s Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12‑story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch. The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder’s Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self‑contained floor of private event spaces. As part of our restaurant operations team and as a key part of the food and beverage team you will: Keep our floor teams stocked with glassware, equipment, silverware, supplies…etc., allowing them to deliver amazing guest experiences every time Deliver food and drinks to members and guests, announcing items as you deliver them to the correct guest Work at pace as part of our busy operation, making sure everything is where it is needed, when it is needed so that we can deliver smooth and uninterrupted service to our members and guests Help the floor teams to maintain a clean and tidy restaurant, always presenting the clean and professional image our customers expect What you can bring to the role: No experience is necessary for this role, so a can‑do attitude and a willingness to learn is all you need Even when not directly serving customers, you will often be visible in and around service areas, so a high standard of personal presentation and a welcoming vibe is essential for all roles at The Ned Whilst not the main point of contact, guests will often ask you for additional items or ask questions so an ability to communicate in a friendly manner about the food and drinks is essential Ideally this will be a stepping stone into a server role, so a desire to learn and progress is always welcome, but not essential What The Ned can give you: Salary of up to $10.00/hour plus gratuities Medical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD Insurance Complimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant when the Club opens Exciting learning and development programs to help progress your career Exclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel stays Paid time off 401k matching Employee assistance program - advice and support Reward and recognition initiatives At The Ned, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
