Test Technician

Varex Imaging PositionPerforms the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.Other Specific Functions or Duties:Adheres to all safety requirements.Maintains a clean work area.May assist in training other employees on production skills.May assist in preventative maintenance of standard production equipment.Skills, Knowledge, Training and Certifications:Experience Level with Business ToolsFamiliar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.Level Description:SkillAcquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.Job ComplexityWorks on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
