Director of Nursing (DON) - Full-Time

Compensation: $105,000-$120,000 per year

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a nursing professional who can effectively oversee clinical staff, support regulatory compliance, and promote excellent standards of care.

Candidates with strong Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or nursing supervisor experience may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff and clinical operations

Oversee the delivery of safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care

Support staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management

Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and standards

Monitor clinical practices and quality-of-care initiatives

Collaborate with physicians, administrators, residents/patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Address clinical and operational concerns effectively and professionally

Develop and maintain a positive, collaborative nursing environment

Support ongoing staff development and education

Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives

Qualifications

Current nursing license in the applicable state

Leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting

DON, ADON, Nursing Supervisor, or similar nursing leadership experience preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Commitment to providing exceptional patient/resident care

Compensation & Schedule

$105,000-$120,000 annual salary

Full-time position

Permanent position preferred

Temp-to-perm candidates may be considered

Candidates with ADON or Nursing Supervisor experience are encouraged to apply
