Certified Nurse Midwife

Overview Quincy Medical Group is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a full‑scope women's health practice serving patients across the continuum of care, from routine gynecology and prenatal services to in‑hospital and birth‑center deliveries. This role offers a rare practice environment as one of only five birth centers in Illinois and the opportunity to work in a collaborative OB/GYN team with a goal of achieving a 1:3 call schedule. Practice Environment Full scope of practice in a comprehensive women’s health setting. Outpatient clinic serving patients from adolescence through menopause. Deliveries at Blessing Hospital and QMG’s birth center. Collaborative OB/GYN team with a defined framework for selecting the appropriate care setting and provider for each patient. Growing midwifery team with a path to a 1:3 call schedule. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive prenatal, obstetric, and postpartum care for patients. Perform deliveries, including at the birth center and hospital, following midwifery best practices. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members in a multidisciplinary OB/GYN environment. Participate in call rotations, working toward a 1:3 schedule as the team expands. Maintain high‑quality patient relationships and uphold a low‑intervention, patient‑centered approach to birth. Qualifications Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with current or eligible Illinois licensure. Commitment to full‑scope midwifery practice, including clinic and delivery settings. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to team‑based care. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary OB/GYN environment.
