RECB Credit Delivery Associate III

Job Title

Responsible for the financial analysis, risk assessment and credit structure recommendation for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) clients and prospects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Leading the diligence and underwriting documentation of the most complex and larger credit relationships
• Ensuring loan agreement is in accordance with approval documents
• Analyzing financial statements/projections and documents client performance, along with identified risk and risk mitigants of most complex credits
• Providing oversight of credit relationship/project performance and monitoring activity to include overall portfolio management and understanding of current industry and market trends
• Ensuring all Credit Process Metrics are within prescribed tolerances
• Managing pipeline of assigned portfolio to ensure that all requests are completed in a timely fashion and to ensure that the Client needs are met
• Serving as a client and internal point of contact in managing assigned portfolio
• Serving as a source of real estate underwriting knowledge and expertise
• Mentoring and coaching Analysts and Associates

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Possess appropriate Investment Banking licensure including Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative) and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State License)
• 5+ years of experience in underwriting, portfolio administration or commercial loan credit decision-making
• Experience in underwriting, structuring and closing direct and syndicated loan transactions (e.g. $25MM to $250MM+)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of credit principles
• Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
• Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of Truist or legacy Development Program
• MBA in Accounting or Finance or in related field; or an equivalent combination of educational and experience or other related advanced degree
