ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher with a valid California Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs) credential for the 2026–2027 school year in Patterson, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students with Autism in a specialized classroom while making a meaningful impact on their academic, behavioral, communication, and functional development.

This assignment provides the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational team focused on student growth, independence, and success.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time

• 40 Hours per Week

• Full 2026–2027 School Year

• Autism Special Education Classroom

Qualifications:

• Valid California Education Specialist Credential with Extensive Support Needs (ESN) or Moderate/Severe authorization required

• Candidates holding other qualifying California Special Education credentials that authorize service in this setting are encouraged to apply

• Experience working with students with Autism and/or Moderate/Severe disabilities preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

• Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments

• Commitment to supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

• Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

• Support students' communication, social-emotional, academic, and daily living skills

• Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
