Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist. The PTA will implement selected components of patient/client interventions, obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort.ResponsibilitiesAssist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives.Provide patient care in in-patient, outpatient, and home health settings.Communicate effectively with employees, physicians, visitors, and administration.Adapt to diverse job situations that involve many different people and projects, demonstrating independent judgment.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureGraduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and current credentialing by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board.Verification of current instruction in Basic Life Support (BLS).Minimum of two (2) years of experience, primarily in outpatient settings preferred.Bi-lingual capabilities are helpful.ScheduleDay Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
