About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Lubbock, Texas, 79401!

• Provide direct patient care on a pediatric medical-surgical unit within a 181-bed children's hospital
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:3-5 in accordance with unit guidelines
• Participate in on-call rotations as required based on unit census
• Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care needs
• Work a minimum of 5 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms (locals within 50 miles may be considered under alternate terms)
• Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling preferences upfront at the time of submission - post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)

• Prior pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a trauma center or acute care children's hospital setting

• Opportunity to work within a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center at a dedicated children's hospital with free onsite parking
