Glean Platform Implementation & Migration (45%)
- Support the implementation and rollout of the Glean enterprise search platform , including configuration, validation, and optimization.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to integrate enterprise data sources into Glean (e.g., document repositories, collaboration tools, expert profiles, and structured systems).
- Assist in planning and executing the migration off Coveo , including mapping capabilities, content sources, metadata, and relevance logic where applicable.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on differences between Coveo and Glean , helping teams adapt processes and expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Glean configurations align with business needs, security requirements, and access controls.
- Support testing, rollout readiness, and post-launch stabilization of Glean.
- Advise on AI-powered search, ranking, recommendations, and personalization capabilities within Glean.
- Help teams understand and leverage generative AI, semantic search, and contextual relevance features.
- Evaluate how existing Coveo AI concepts (e.g., relevance tuning, ML models) translate into Glean's AI-native approach.
- Identify opportunities to improve knowledge discovery through AI-based signals, user context, and behavioral insights .
- Stay current on enterprise AI and search trends , sharing best practices and recommendations with internal teams.
- Partner with analytics and product teams to define success metrics for the Glean implementation (e.g., adoption, engagement, search satisfaction).
- Support analysis of search usage patterns to inform configuration refinements and integration priorities.
- Help document and communicate best practices for content structuring, metadata, and discoverability within Glean.
- Contribute to enablement materials, internal documentation, and knowledge transfer for long-term ownership.
- Act as a trusted advisor to product owners, UX designers, engineers, and content teams during the transition.
- Support search-related aspects of product launches, CMS changes, and platform modernization efforts as they relate to Glean.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and align teams around implementation goals.
Required
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise search platforms , including Coveo, Glean, or similar AI-driven search solutions .
- Hands-on experience with search platform implementation, migration, or large-scale configuration , not just operational tuning.
- Strong understanding of AI-powered search concepts , including semantic search, relevance, personalization, and generative AI.
- Experience with enterprise data integration , APIs, and connecting multiple content sources into a unified search experience.
- Familiarity with search analytics, adoption metrics, and usage insights to inform platform optimization.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Direct experience implementing or administering Glean .
- Prior experience supporting a migration off Coveo or similar legacy search platforms.
- Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise ecosystems (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Background in knowledge management, digital workplace, or enterprise AI initiatives.
