Job Description
A Line Cook plays a critical role in preparing and cooking food according to set recipes and quality standards within a medium-sized kitchen team. Reporting to the Head Chef, this role primarily involves working night shifts including weekends and holidays, ensuring that dishes are executed with precision and consistency while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items
- Cook dishes following standardized recipes and plating guidelines
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
- Maintain quality control throughout the cooking and plating process
- Execute recipes accurately and timely for consistent product delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail
