Job Summary:
Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor (MS) in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. The nurse will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team is essential. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Jackson, Michigan
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • 2+ years of general medical-surgical unit experience
  • At least one year of experience working on a surgical floor
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Float: Candidates may be asked to float; location is acuity adaptable and may include floating to a lockdown unit.
• Additional Information:
  • The position emphasizes clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary for forming effective nursing care plans.
  • Must be able to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services and effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
