Job Summary: The Security Supervisor in Massachusetts oversees day-to-day security operations without the use of armed forces. This role ensures compliance with state regulations and company policies, manages a team of security officers, and coordinates with external agencies to maintain a secure environment. Supervisory Responsibilities Lead and manage the security team, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols. Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous training. Develop and implement security protocols and emergency response plans. Ensure full coverage across all shifts, managing personnel scheduling effectively. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary contact for security incidents, ensuring swift and effective responses. Collaborate with the Regional Security Manager to enhance security measures and process improvements. Conduct audits and drills to ensure facility safety and security. Monitor security systems, including surveillance and access control. Maintain compliance with Massachusetts's specific security regulations. Required Skills/Abilities Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage security teams. Knowledge of Massachusetts state-specific security regulations. Proficiency in using security technologies such as CCTV and access control systems. Experience with conflict resolution and crisis management. Ability to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations. Education And Experience High School Diploma or GED required. 3+ years of experience in security, with 1+ years in a supervisory role. Prior experience in a high-security environment such as cannabis, law enforcement, or similar. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Availability for night shifts, weekends, and on-call emergencies.
