Job Description

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team in a progressive care neuro trauma unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting and hold an active nursing license.

Unit Information

• Location: Portsmouth, NH
• Number of Beds: 23
• Staffing:
  
  
  • Day Shift: 6-7 RNs; 2 Aides
  • Night Shift: 6-7 RNs; 2 Aides
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Type of Equipment: Bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, subdural drains
• EMR: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Active nursing license
• ACLS & BLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Telemetry step-down experience
• Neuro experience
• Trauma experience

Typical Procedures Performed

• Chest tubes
• EEGs
