The Training Specialist, Mid supports the design, development, and delivery of training solutions to ensure successful user adoption of systems and applications. This mid‑level role collaborates with customers and senior training staff to produce high‑quality multimedia training materials and deliver effective training experiences. Responsibilities Independently perform the majority of functional duties while collaborating with customers and the Senior Training Specialist on training design, strategies, and objectives. Make recommendations to enhance training materials and delivery methods to ensure maximum user adoption. Develop and maintain software‑based learning modules for training purposes. Design and produce training materials in a variety of formats, including print, graphics, audio, video, animation, and multimedia. Cofacilitate and or deliver training sessions and workshops as required. Perform quality reviews of training deliverables and mentor Junior Training Specialists on tools, templates, and best practices. Work with the development lead to maintain configuration management of training projects and related files and records. Track and communicate training content progress, dependencies, risks, and issues to support on‑time delivery. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications MA/MS degree OR BA/BS with 3+ years of experience OR Equivalent amount of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree 5+ years of experience in a field directly related to the position. 5+ years of experience as a video editor or in a similar role. 5+ years of experience developing video or multimedia training materials. 1+ year of experience coordinating or task leading content development efforts, including planning, scheduling, status reporting, and risk or issue tracking. Background check required. Must be a U.S. citizen Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting training efforts for software development or IT programs. Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments. Experience developing training for enterprise applications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles. Proficiency with video editing and multimedia production tools. Ability to develop clear, engaging training materials for diverse audiences. Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
