P&C Insurance Agency Manager- Denver

HMG is a well-established online lead generation business with a proven track record of customer acquisition across multiple industries. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector and building a multi-state agency focused on innovation, customer service, and long-term growth.

We are seeking an experienced P&C Insurance Agency Manager to help lead and scale our online insurance operation. This is a key leadership role for someone with strong experience in non-captive insurance agencies, sales management, compliance awareness, and customer service operations.

You will play an important role in helping us grow our agency infrastructure, oversee daily operations, support licensing requirements, and deliver a high-quality customer experience across multiple states.

About the Role

This role will oversee agency operations including inbound sales support, customer service processes, producer management, and compliance support. While the business is heavily focused on online signups, we also require a strong phone-based customer experience for clients who prefer to speak with an agent directly.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working within independent/non-captive insurance agencies and understand both the operational and sales side of running a modern insurance business.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the P&C insurance agency
• Support online and inbound phone-based insurance sales
• Oversee customer service standards and retention processes
• Assist with agency licensing and compliance requirements across multiple states
• Work alongside leadership to improve workflows, systems, and growth strategies
• Support and supervise customer service and sales staff
• Ensure compliance with carrier and state regulatory requirements
• Help build scalable operational procedures as the company grows

Requirements

• Previous experience within a non-captive P&C insurance agency
• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products
• Experience in insurance sales and customer service management
• Candidates with sufficient experience to obtain licensing are strongly encouraged to apply
• Multi-state insurance experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced online business environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with online lead generation or digital insurance sales
• Experience acting as a Designated Responsible Licensed Person (DRLP) or similar licensing oversight role
• Experience with agency management systems and CRM platforms

We offer a competitive base salary of $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus uncapped commissions, comprehensive health benefits, a positive and collaborative work culture.
