Position Summary We are excited to welcome a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to our dedicated team of imaging experts committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Your expertise will empower you to employ cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic procedures, collaborate with our clinical team, and provide invaluable support to patients through accurate and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Promote patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, articulating each step with care and transparency
- Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues that arise
- Maintain precise documentation within the electronic medical record system, ensuring patient information is accurate and accessible
- Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound techniques and best practices to enhance patient care
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a relevant equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
