RN Sepsis Coordinator

40 hrs/wk; 5 days/wk. Lead and improve our sepsis program within the organization. This role focuses on early identification of sepsis, ensuring timely evidence-based treatment, and driving compliance with CMS SEP-1 measures and clinical guidelines. The coordinator collaborates closely with providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to monitor performance, provide staff education, and implement quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes. Candidates must have an active Nebraska RN license and at least three years of acute care experience (ICU, ED, or stepdown preferred); a BSN, quality improvement experience, and sepsis-related certifications are preferred.
