Full Throttle Security Corp. is seeking a Security Officer to help protect people, property, and company assets in Orlando, FL.

As a Security Officer, you will serve as a visible, reliable presence on-site—monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and enforcing established safety and security procedures. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service will help maintain a secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff.

This is a full-time onsite role where you will use sound judgment to handle routine security tasks and escalate urgent matters as needed, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.

• Monitor and patrol designated premises to deter unauthorized activity and ensure compliance with security procedures.

• Observe, document, and report incidents, unusual circumstances, and security-related findings in a clear and timely manner.

• Respond to alarms and alerts, assess situations, and take appropriate action following established protocols.

• Provide courteous assistance to visitors and staff, including direction, access control support, and verification as required.

• Maintain a professional appearance and readiness to support emergency and incident response efforts onsite.

• Follow post orders

• Ability to work full-time onsite in Orlando, FL and follow assigned schedules and shift requirements.

• Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm, focused, and professional in urgent or high-stakes situations.

• Basic understanding of security practices and procedures, including incident reporting and escalation.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to write accurate, factual incident notes.

• Reliability and integrity, with a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a secure environment.

• Valid Driver's license with OWN transportation. No ride share or public transportation.

• Florida state D Security license

• Prior experience in security, loss prevention, or a related customer-facing safety role.

• Familiarity with access control practices and basic alarm response procedures.

• Experience working in environments that require discretion, professionalism, and consistent enforcement of policies.

• Training or familiarity with de-escalation techniques and responding appropriately to disruptive situations.

Hourly rate: $16.00

Schedule:

This is an OVERNIGHT position. 3 days at a Residential site and 2 days at our Mall site

( Sun, Mon, Tues- Residential) (Wed, Thurs- Mall site) 11p-7a
